Catalyst heads towards a brighter future with new CEO

Catalyst Science Discovery Centre in Widnes, is delighted to announce the appointment of a new CEO, Nikki Burton Mallott.

Nikki, joins Catalyst from Knowsley Safari where she was Head of Learning and Discovery. With over 10 years’ experience in Conservation Education, she was responsible for the operational and strategic control of the learning, conservation and research teams at Knowsley Safari.

Welcoming Nikki to Catalyst, Chair of Trustees, Hugh Dowding said “Nikki was appointed due to her combination of a very open and friendly personality, her successes in teambuilding at Knowsley, and her real understanding of what attracts and satisfies visitors. I and the Trustees welcome her to Catalyst, we look forward to working alongside her in the future and we are very confident that she will be a great acquisition as our new CEO.”

New CEO Nikki said “I am delighted to join the Catalyst team and support their mission to engage communities with science and heritage. I am joining at an exciting time where plans for growth and development are in full swing and I look forward to being a part of the next stage in Catalysts journey’.
