We are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager (Part time)

This position would report directly to the CEO and would be ideal for an experienced finance manager with an accountancy qualification such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA or ACA. The main duties and responsibilities would include:

  • Day to day financial operations
  • Regular report writing (management accounts, project reports)
  • Knowledge of current legislation and best practice, particularly relating to charity and SORP regulations
  • Financial forecasting
  • Production of annual accounts
  • Development of strategies, processes and procedures to improve financial operations

    Design consultant required for ‘Synergy’ project

    Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum is seeking a Design Consultant with experience in designing museum exhibitions and exhibition spaces to provide the design for refurbishments to parts of the Catalyst building during the development phase of the Synergy Project. This is a National Lottery Heritage Funded Project and work will commence in March 2023.

    We expect the design activity to be delivered over a six month period interfacing with the independent co-creation
    activities.

    Role: Design Consultant
    Reports to: CEO and Heritage Project Manager
    Location: Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum, Mersey Road, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 0DF
    Total Contract Value: £30,000 maximum
