The University of Liverpool hosts a vibrant group of volcanologists that study this awe-inspiring natural phenomenon. We aim not only show how multi-disciplinary research helps better understanding magma movement in the Earth and eruption processes, but also how we can dream of harnessing volcanic energy. We will also consider a combination of the current research conducted at Liverpool and our monitoring effort in Guatemala.
