by Sam Haig, Head of Engineering & Research, AXION

This presentation will describe the scope and possibilities for the recovery of metal, glass, plastic, paper and board, from materials in common use and regularly discarded. Growing rapidly in significance, this industry is showing a way forward to future sustainability.

But what about those materials less convenient for recovery and more resistant to being reconstituted and re-used? Plastics are very much in the news, and the strategy to cope better with these problem materials will feature prominently in the talk.

We are familiar with the publicity concerning plastic packaging. Is it all true?
