Over the Rainbow – Workshop with BSL Interpreter
Thanks to funding from the Chemical Business Association, Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum are working in conjunction with the Deafness Resource Centre in St Helens on a pilot project to make our family workshops and shows more accessible to D/deaf adults, children and their families.
The next session in the series will take place on Sunday 22nd June when we’ll have a BSL interpreter present in our 3:00pm Over the Rainbow Workshop! See more information below.
Over the Rainbow!
Which science experiments lead you to a rainbow?
In this hands-on workshop we investigate light, optical illusions, density, chromatography, and acids and alkalis in the search for the rainbows in science and find out who discovered them first!
The 3:00pm workshop will include a BSL interpreter
There are free tickets available to families in the D/deaf community. To check if you are eligible please contact Deafness Resource Centre St Helens, enquiries@deafnessresourcecentre.org or Telephone (voice and text) 01744 23887
This project is funded by the Chemical Business Association
