National Lottery Open Week – Free Entry
We will be throwing our doors open for free to National Lottery players on 15th, 16th and 18th – 23rd March from 10am – 5pm.
We will be one of 350 participating National Lottery funded attractions across the UK saying ‘thanks’ to people who have raised money for good causes by buying a lottery ticket.
Thanks to National Lottery players, Catalyst has been given a grant of £1009,930 by the National Lottery Heritage Fund to help us educate and excite an even wider audience about the relevance of chemistry, the town’s heritage and how this has shaped modern life today. The funding will be used to create new jobs in the area, help refurbish parts of the museum and fund an extensive activity plan that will ensure an enhanced experience for the local community and visitors.
This free admission event is a small gesture of thanks and a way of giving something back to the people who buy tickets. Visitors can explore the three interactive galleries, view the art exhibition from Cronton College students or buy a tasty snack and drink from our cafe with excellent views over the River Mersey and the Mersey Gateway Bridge.
