National Lottery Open Week 2026

Free entry to Catalyst on 7th & 8th March, all you have to bring is a physical or digital lottery ticket or scratchcard with you to gain free admission for one adult.

This free admission event is a small gesture of thanks and a way of giving something back to the people who buy tickets. Visitors can explore the three interactive galleries or buy a tasty snack and drink from our cafe with excellent views over the River Mersey and the Mersey Gateway Bridge.

If you would like to book onto one of our workshops or shows, there is an additional cost.
Tickets for the shows cost £2.75 per person and can be booked in reception on arrival

Terms and conditions:

• One Adult will be admitted free to Catalyst on production of one Lottery ticket.
• This offer is only valid on 7th or 8th March, between 10am and 4pm.
• More than one adult per party can be admitted free, provided that each adult produces a separate Lottery ticket. Production of one Lottery ticket with multiple lines will not gain free entry for multiple people.
• All National Lottery games, including National Lottery draw-based games, Instant Win Games and National Lottery scratchcards, purchased in-store and online / via app, qualify to redeem this offer.
• Proof of ticket can be hard copy ticket or digital
• Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum has the right to refuse entry in the unlikely event of the venue reaching capacity, as well as unforeseen circumstances
• In the event of queries on the day, the organisation’s decision is final.
• This offer is not exchangeable
• This offer is only open to adults. Any accompanying children must be paid for.
