City Nature Challenge
On 26th and 27th April 2025 we will be joining forces with the Mersey Gateway Environmental Trust (MGET) to take part in the City Nature Challenge (CNC)
City Nature Challenge is an annual four-day global ‘bioblitz’ nature hunt, to assist in recording and protecting wildlife in urban areas. Every year, cities all over the world take part in friendly and fun competition to see who can gather the most observations of nature and find the most species.
Join us and MGET for a weekend celebrating nature, there will be fun nature based activities and crafts!
Visit each of the four stations, starting at the MGET Gazebo, exploring Spike Island and finishing at Catalyst for a bug hunt and a chance to win a prize for everyone who completes the City Nature Challenge!
Between 10am and 2pm each day.
