Chemical Towns

Pop along to Catalyst to see ‘Chemical Towns’ – an exhibition showcasing some of the many gems in our archive.

The ‘Chemical Towns’ Exhibition contains some items from our collection which show the importance of preserving our heritage for future generations. Catalyst is about to submit a bid for funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to redevelop its heritage offer – making it accessible to new and under-represented audiences in an exciting and meaningful way. This project is called Synergy.

As part of this project we are working with a company called GenusIT using their ‘Recollect’ Collections Management System to store, collate and show our extensive archive collection. Come and take a look at a selection of our digitised collection on the kiosk in the exhibition, courtesy of GenusIT.

This exhibition is located adjacent to the Catalyst Gift Shop and is free to enter. Be sure to pick up a Spotters Guide!
