Catalyst Camp with a Difference

At Catalyst, we appreciate that uniformed groups may be struggling to continue their normal activities with their groups so we’ve come up with a way for them to take part in some fun activities in our Catalyst Camp with a Difference!

It’s a one hour, online, digital workshop where the group will have the opportunity to explore and discuss the science behind three, fun, camp activities – which meet the criteria for the science badge too!

The group choose the platform, whether it is Zoom, Teams or another, then invite Catalyst to join as a guest at a specific time to deliver the hour long session. There are presenter led demonstrations in our lab and practical activities that the participants complete in their home.

The activities have all been risk assessed and we provide this information to distribute to parents or guardians in advance along with a list of items needed for the activities.
