Catalyst is located in Widnes, just minutes from the Runcorn bridge.  We are easily accessible from Junction 7 M62 / Junction 12 M56 then head towards Widnes then follow the brown and white tourism signs.

Facilities

In addition to our 3 main galleries we have:-  


The Elements cafe which serves a selection of hot and cold meals, snacks, drinks and ice creams.

A Museum shop where you will find a wide range of interesting scientific toys, souvenirs and gifts.

Award winning toilets and baby change.
Free car and coach parking.

 
Access for all   Catalyst has been designed with all visitors in mind. There is a ramped approach to the building and with level access to reception, cafe, shop, toilets and baby-change. A lift gives easy access to all galleries. Induction loops are fitted to the video displays on the first floor. We have two wheelchairs available for public use. Guide dogs are welcome.
  
Admission   Discounted rates are available for disabled visitors and a necessary companion will be admitted free of charge.
  
Parking   There are 3 designated parking spaces in the main car park. However there is also close street parking available to the side of the Museum entrance, which may be easier for people with mobility difficulties.
