Group visits

Whether you are a Brownie or Scout group, a U3A or Probus Club or a school holiday activity club, Catalyst offers discounted admission rates for groups of 10 or more.

Adult groups

Catalyst offers a unique package for adult groups, called Lifelong Learning which is ideal for U3A or Probus Clubs.
Tea, coffee and biscuits is served on arrival, before you move to the theatre for an hour long illustrated talk from one of the Catalyst Trustees or a member of our Education Team. Following the talk, you can take a guided tour of the galleries including our Birth of an Industry gallery and a peek into our archive collection.
The price for this option is £4.95 per person.

Especially popular for adult groups are the Panoramic Halton tablets, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. These can be borrowed from reception and used in the Observatory gallery to discover more about the heritage of the area that you can see from the windows. They contain a wealth of information, some video clips, archive photographs and a quiz that you can complete as you explore!

For more information please email  or telephone 0151 420 1121.
