Arriving by air

  • You can fly to Liverpool (5 miles - recommended), or to Manchester (20 miles)
  • Manchester has better international connections, but it's awkward to get to us unless you have a car (follow M56 westbound towards Chester, take exit 12) .  A taxi can cost more than £50 or you can get the train via Manchester to Widnes, although the station is several miles from us 
  • Liverpool has mainly low cost carriers but there are a surprising number of places from which they fly, especially in the UK.  You can get the Arriva 82A to Catalyst during the day until about 11pm.
