21st November 2007 Institution of Chemical Engineers supports Catalyst Education Programme On 6th November, Catalyst Director Julie Burgess-Wilson was presented with a cheque for £5,000 from Iqbal Essa, Chairman of the North West Branch of the IChemE who commented that he found his visit very heart-warming and encouraging. “It has enabled me to judge at first hand the excellent work that you do.” The funding will help to support the ‘Crazy Changes Show’ for primary pupils and the ‘Partying Particles Show’ for secondary pupils. On receiving the cheque, Director of Catalyst, Julie Burgess-Wilson said “Catalyst is delighted to be associated with the IChemE NW and much appreciate the support they give us. It is vital that we continue to work with organisations such as the IChemE to continue to promote science based knowledge and skills transfer.
