Weekend Workshops in May

Visit with your family at the weekend for a chance to take part in a hands-on workshop or see an interactive science show.

Family shows at 11.30am and 2.00pm

Earthy is feeling a little under the weather and is going to the doctors for a check-up. Join us, along with expert scientists, as we investigate what is bothering Earthy. Become a trainee environmental scientist and help us investigate Earthy’s land, air and oceans and see if together we can find solutions.

Catalyst will deliver this project between February and October in conjunction with Techniquest Glyndwr

Operation Earth is directed and managed by the UK Association of Science and Discovery Centres, in collaboration with NERC researchers and three centres with considerable expertise in engaging the public with environmental science; The Natural History Museum in London, Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh and Eden Project in Cornwall.

Geology Rocks!

Workshop at 12.30pm and 3.00pm
