Launch of Operation Earth!

Visit Catalyst during February half term for a chance to take part in a brand new exciting show called Operation Earth, exploring the amazing stories and science of the environment.

Earthy is feeling a little under the weather and is going to the doctors for a check-up. Join us, along with expert scientists, as we investigate what is bothering Earthy. Become a trainee environmental scientist and help us investigate Earthy’s land, air and oceans, and see if together we can find solutions.

Shows will be presented daily throughout half term at 12 noon and 3.00pm.

Tickets for the show cost £1.25 per person in addition to the normal admission price but they are limited and will be sold at reception each day on a first come, first served basis.

Catalyst will deliver this project between February and October in conjunction with Techniquest Glyndwr

Operation Earth is directed and managed by the UK Association of Science and Discovery Centres, in collaboration with NERC researchers and three centres with considerable expertise in engaging the public with environmental science; The Natural History Museum in London, Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh and Eden Project in Cornwall.
